Getting a Whiter Smile at Home with Smile Brilliant

Super excited to be sharing this review of this amazing product I got from Smile Brilliant. #SmileBrilliant specializes in teeth whitening and oral care products customized just for you! Oral care has always been a huge priority of mine and going through the rough stages of having braces in middle school it taught me how important it is to take care of your teeth. Once I got my braces off my parents always told me how important it was to keep up with my teeth even after having my braces removed. I went through countless nights making sure I had my retainers in, flossing daily and always made sure I kept a good toothbrush. Thanks to my braces I now have an amazing smile but I've always wanted to achieve that perfect white "Colgate" look. I've always been interested in whitening treatments but always thought they would be really expensive to have done professionally so I always went with the more affordable options of buying whitening toothpaste and even tried whitening strips (the results were never up to par.)

When Smile Brilliant reached out to me I was a little skeptical but between communication with my representative and looking at reviews online I knew this was an opportunity I had to jump at! They were so easy to work with and very informative and helpful. After answering a series of questions about my dental history they sent me an at home whitening kit which gave me the opportunity to whiten my teeth in the comfort of my own home. I received my kit in the mail that came with clear instructions, several syringes filled with desensitizing gel and whitening gel and also a kit to make impressions of my teeth which came with extra clay in case I messed up the first time (which I definitely did.) I sent them off in a prepaid package and waited to receive my custom made teeth whitening trays.

About 3-4 business days later I received the trays and began my journey to a whiter smile, the instructions were super easy to follow and clear with a picture guide to assist as well. Before beginning the whitening process they advise you not to drink coffee, tea or red wine 24 hours before whitening and I was also advised to whiten before bed so you don't risk introducing new stains to your teeth. You can choose to whiten your teeth anywhere between 45 minutes up to 3 hours and they provide you with a desensitizing gel if you have sensitive teeth/gums.

I normally whitened before bedtime so I wouldn't have to worry about eating or drinking anything after, I generally whitened for about a hour at night while getting ready for bed or catching up on one of my favorite tv shows and I saw results INSTANTLY. After several uses I saw a big difference in what my smile looked like, I used the kit about two to three times a week just to avoid experiencing any sensitivity. I received 4 whitening gels and 4 desensitizing gels, each syringe gives you about 3-4 uses so this kit will definitely last me a while!
