I know, I know it’s been a while since I last posted something on my website but I am here in the “technological flesh” I don’t know if that’s really a thing LOL but I am here! I spoke with a friend of mine and he actually encouraged me to start back being active on KUWK. Honestly, in my mind I had decided I was just going to let KUWK go because I have multiple brands that I manage and because of that I figured you all could keep up with me through the different platforms. After a long talk and really thinking about my decision I decided to revamp my personal blog.
To me it’s really something special about each one of my platforms, you get something different from each one. On KUWK I’m able to express myself on a more personal and intimate level and overall I really just love writing and tracking my journey on an online platform.
With considering all of these things, I’ve decided to come back to my first love of writing and revamp KUWK. With that being said let’s catch up.
1) I finally got a “big girl” job
As you all know I have been a faithful instacarter, well, I finally got a “big girl” job which I just absolutely love and adore. I work at a middle school as a tutor for 6th-8th graders for reading and math. When I tell y’all this job has been so rewarding, they have worked with my school schedule, the pay is consistent and THE KIDS, the kids keep me on my toes for sure but most of all, to know that I am helping educate them and preparing them for the future has been such a reward in itself.
2) I’m officially a “Grown Up”
I moved into my first apartment! Moving has been something I’ve wanted to do for so long now. For those that don’t know I had to commute to school and work which was about a 50 min drive everyday, I practically lived in my car. After I got my “big girl job” which was also 50 min away from my house I decided now was the time for me to make that move. I am now 10-15 min from basically everything I need in the city and I now have my own space which has been AMAZING and oh the joy of paying bills *inserts fake smile* but it’s all worth it!
3) I started a podcast!
My friend Kyaira and I started a podcast called Key and Ky. We wanted a platform where we could express ourselves, showcase our personalities and inspire others and really just bring people into our conversations. Having the podcast has given me a different way to express myself and i’ve really been able to work on my public speaking. *You can listen to the podcast on Google Play, Stitcher, SoundCloud and Apple Podcasts and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @KeyandKy 📷
I am so excited to start back my journey of blogging and sharing more inspirational insights with you all, stay tuned for more Keeping Up with Keyana!
Until Next Time,
